Assistant Superintendent (Multi-family Construction)

Background

Stonebridge Construction is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Assistant Superintendent to help lead our multi-family projects in the Twin Cities Metro area. Since its founding in 2002, Stonebridge has served as a trusted general contractor, developer, and property owner/manager, completing thousands of units in multi-family and senior living projects.

We offer a unique “build-for-self” environment that provides significant advantages over traditional third-party firms:

  • Zero Out-of-State Travel: Our projects are focused in the Twin Cities Metro area, ensuring you stay local.
  • Vertical Integration: Because we own and manage much of what we build, you benefit from greater job security and a long-term interest in the asset.
  • Less Red Tape: Our streamlined ownership structure means fewer administrative headaches and more autonomy for onsite leaders.
  • Growth Opportunity: As a growing company, we prioritize the development of our staff and offer a clear path toward senior field leadership roles.

The Assistant Superintendent position is the first step in taking a larger field leadership role on our multi-family projects and is the first step towards preparing individuals to become Project Superintendents. The Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure timely, quality and successful completion of project.

  • Communication & Documentation: Independently manage project correspondence, including RFIs, ASIs, pre-install meetings, and material submittals, using Procore.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents. Walk site and all units daily to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and plan for upcoming project activities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a site that is not only compliant with safety, health, and environmental standards, but committed to making sure all workers complete work and return home safety, including leading weekly safety and progress meetings.
